How to use CropMyLabels
Everything the cropper can do, and the printer settings that give perfect 4x6 labels.
1. Crop labels
Download the label PDF from your seller panel. On the home page or a platform page, drop the file into the cropper, or click to choose it. You can add several files. Click Crop labels. The tool finds the shipping label on each page, cuts off the invoice and white space, and fits the label to 4 x 6 inch.
2. Print SKU, size and quantity
By default only the label is printed. Turn on the SKU, Size and Qty switches to add them. The details are read from the label text and printed in bold in a strip under the label. Turn on Date & time, Colour or Order ID in More options, or type a custom note such as “Thank you for your order”.
3. Sort labels
In More options → Sort labels by, choose SKU to print all identical products together, or Courier to hand parcels over courier by courier.
4. Picklist
After cropping, click Picklist PDF for an A4 list of every SKU and size with total quantity. Or turn on Picklist page first to print it as the first 4x6 label.
5. Print on A4 (4 labels per page)
No thermal printer? Choose Print on → A4 sheet, 4 labels per page. Print on A4 sticker paper or plain paper and cut along the dotted lines.
Printer settings for 4x6 labels
- Paper size: 100 x 150 mm or 4 x 6 in.
- Scale: Fit (Fit to page / Fit to printable area). The cropped label is enlarged to fill the sticker and rotated automatically.
- Margins: none. Orientation: portrait.
- If print is faint, increase darkness in the printer driver settings rather than in the PDF.
If a label is cropped wrongly
- Set Crop area to Top half of page when the label always sits in the upper half.
- Set it to Whole page, trim white space for files that are already label sized.
- Use Extra margin if the edge of the label is cut too close.
- Scanned PDFs can be cropped, but SKUs can only be read from PDFs that contain text.
